A dual US-Italian citizen, Renata Sheppard is an interdisciplinary artist focused on movement at the intersection of technology, culture, and community. With an MFA in Dance and trained in theatre, music, and visual arts she has worked internationally as a Fulbright Scholar and Henry Luce Scholar. She is currently a freelance artist, spearheading Virginia’s Harbor for the Arts Festival, continuing her work as a specialist on dance and interactive design with international workshops, panels, lectures and projects from Australia to Taiwan to Italy and Tunisia.
