About

Founder/director of Art of Science Learning and PI of its two NSF grants including a $2.6 million award to create 3 incubators for STEM innovation; a new innovation curriculum; experimental research and public programs. Through Seifter Associates, Harvey has used the arts to strengthen innovation and leadership at GE, IBM, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson and Morgan Stanley. Harvey is also a classically trained musician with a 25-year career at the helm of distinguished arts organizations including Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and the Magic Theatre of San Francisco. During his tenure these organizations garnered 5 Grammy Awards, 24 Obie and Critics Circle Awards, and the Kennedy Center Award.
