Jonas Braasch is an acoustician, musicologist, and sound artist who teaches courses in Acoustics at the School of Architecture at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He obtained a master's degree from Dortmund University (Germany, 1998) in Physics and two PhD degrees from Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany (2001, 2004) in Electrical Engineering/Information Science and Musicology.

Research Scientist at the Visible Process Lab in the School of Design at Carnegie Mellon University working on the XSEAD project. My research explores experiential media systems with a focus in three primary areas: experience capture, composition and reuse; interactivity in media arts; and participatory communities.

Aisling Kelliher


Aisling Kelliher is an associate professor in the School of Design at Carnegie Mellon University, where she also holds an adjunct appointment in the Human Computer Interaction Institute. She co-directs the Master of Tangible Interaction Design program at CMU and leads transdisciplinary research in the newly established Visible Process Lab. Aisling received a PhD in Media, Arts and Sciences from the MIT Media Lab. She also holds an MSc in Multimedia Systems from Trinity College, Dublin.
